The one thing you want are tiles that are currently trending but stand the test of the fashion timeline. We’ve selected our favourite tiles that will stay for the long run and effortlessly keep your bathroom in trend for years to come. From new creations to revived tiles it has never been easier to choose a snazzy tile to suit your style.

Terracotta & Zellige Tiles

The natural texture of terracotta tiles brings warmth and comfort to a space. Its rustic tone is suitable for the contemporary and organic bathroom. With endless choices of shapes and sizes, this tile is great for those looking for a little variety in a unique style. Zellige tiles are a popular bright and natural tile. Made out of Moroccan terracotta, it is a lovely choice for a ‘tone to tone’ bathroom colour scheme.

Glossy Tiles

Glazed ceramics are one of the come back tiles of the year. They are great for tiling all over bathroom walls or just the splashback. Cashmere and earthy tones are most popular in the glossy range. An added bonus is that glossy tiles are super easy to clean and are scratch and stain proof.

Round Penny & Tonal Tiles

The most timeless tile is the penny tile. Its versatility is the reason why it always pops back into trend. Add a modern twist by experimenting with contrasting or matching grout and for a minimalistic and low-key look use tonal tiles.

Terrazzo & Large Tiles

Terrazzo tiles are making their way to the lime light of 2018 bathroom design. With several colours and patterns to choose from and their irresistible flair, terrazzo tiles will bring a bright personality to your bathroom. This is a great look to go for if you want a unique yet classic look with low maintenance.

Terrazzo tiles look amazing on a larger scale. The use of large slabs has blossomed recently and they are getting bigger and bolder. Oversized tiles also work perfectly with other materials such as marbles, cement and timbers.

Final Touches: Coloured Grout

Coloured grout is an exciting and fun way to uplift the aesthetic of ordinary tiles. Add a little punch to your bathroom with bright tones such as blues against dark, matte tiles. Use grey, neutral and gold tones against brighter, white tiles. Achieve a complete look by pairing your grout with your tapware and décor of similar tones. This is a great trick used by designers to accentuate the room.
