All of Vanity by Design’s orders are dispatched from our warehouse which is located in Darra, Brisbane. You can organise your own collection from here. There is also a warehouse located in Smithfield, Sydney for collection as well.
Most products on our website are manufactured by us or our joint venture partners in southern China. The remainder are sourced from other manufacturers via strategic alliances, after stringent quality testing to ensure a consistent high standard. Vanity By Design is 100% Australian owned with strict quality control measures and supervision.
We either manufacture the products ourselves in China or have agreements with other manufacturers that allow us to supply products at factory direct prices.
Unfortunately, we do not provide installation service. All plumbing fixtures must be installed by a qualified plumber. Vanities must be installed by a qualified trade person. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
All our vanities are already specially designed to their set sizes, shapes and colours.
At this stage Vanity by Design is unable to offer custom made products nor can we modify any of our online products.
The best way is to contact us directly to check stock availability & restock time frame or we can place your details in our waiting list and notify you as soon as the item(s) are back in stock.
All our vanities are handcrafted in small batches throughout the year to ensure we maintain the highest quality. The process to create each one of our vanities typically takes 6 to 8 weeks.
While we endeavour to have most of our vanities available for you throughout the year, we choose to distribute the fabrication of our vanities into small batches. We believe that you cannot rush perfection and we want to ensure each of our vanities will be with you for a lifetime.
When placing your order for a vanity, customer will require to choose their tap hole options.
Please choose 1 tap hole for basin mixers, 3 tap holes for basin sets and no tap hole for wall mounted taps. These options depend on stock availability.
Any 32 mm universal waste would work with our vanities. You can either purchase it from us or source your own elsewhere.
Your plumber may need to remove the vanity's drawers in order to install plumbing for your vanity. Please click here to check our draw runner tutorial.
Yes, we do ! Vanity by Design offer flat rate home delivery to Metro Brisbane & Sydney within 30 kms CBD area. Brisbane is $90 flat rate & Sydney is $190 flat rate.
In Brisbane and Sydney we have our own vehicles with our VBD staff ready to go, this means the process is 100% controlled by Vanity By Design.
If your postcode is out of range of each cities CBD please contact us and we will find the best delivery options & best quote for you.
If you are located outside of the flat rate delivery zone, we can arrange delivery by quotation via depot pick up only. You can contact us by phone or email to find out your specific shipping options.
We ship within QLD, NSW & VIC only.

Our warehouse opening hours are :
9AM to 3:30PM ( Mon - Fri ) for Darra Brisbane Warehouse
10AM to 3:30pm ( Tue - Fri ) for Smithfield Sydney Warehouse.
Unfortunately at this time, no pick ups are allowed on Saturdays.
For other local depot pick ups, the depot will contact you with collection arrangements. Please ensure you have the appropriate means of transport from the depot.
Once you have placed your order and payment has been confirmed, we generally send stocked products within 24-48 hours excluding weekends & public holidays. If any of the products are on order or out of stock, we will contact you to let you know when your items are ready for dispatch.
It depends on where you are and the shipping destination. All our orders are dispatched from our Darra Brisbane warehouse. Orders processed in here will take generally 5-10 business days (exclude weekends and public holiday) to arrive depending on its location.
For rural destinations please allow up to 12 working days.
If you have placed an order for home delivery in Brisbane or Sydney, you will receive a call to organise delivery from our friendly staff.
If you have placed an order with delivery to a depot, you will receive a tracking number when it leaves our Darra warehouse and then a call from the pick up depot once the order is ready for collection.
Once a time and date has been organised for your delivery, one of our logistic freight companies will collect from our Brisbane warehouse and deliver to the agreed location. Someone must be there to help unload unless you order an extra driver, additional charges apply if you require a second driver.
Lighter items will be dispatched via our door-to-door courier company.
If you order has not been dispatched, please contact our customer service team on (07) 3376 6055 as soon as possible.
If you need to change the delivery address after your order has been dispatched, please contact us immediately. This may incur additional charges for re-delivery.
When your order is ready for delivery our transport team will contact you to arrange a time and date for delivery.
We are still able to deliver to your property if no one is home, however this will void your delivery warranty. Vanity by Design will not be liable for theft or damage.
We also take 1 photo of each delivery we do in Brisbane and Sydney as proof of delivery.
This depends on your delivery, you are not required to sign for home delivery however in Brisbane and Sydney on our delivery runs we will take a photo of our delivery of your products.
If collecting from a depot then the depot may ask for a signature.
Unfortunately, we can’t take your order upstairs we can put it into the garage or ground floor. We will not be taking it up stairs or in any lifts. Due to OH&S requirements our drivers cannot lift more than 25kg.
You will need someone to help when your order is getting delivered, we send one person for delivery unless you ask us for a helper which will have an additional cost. If you will need an assist with delivery please contact us and we can arrange it for you.
Your Order will be sent back to our warehouses and you will be contacted to schedule in a new date. There will be a rescheudling fee involved in this process.
Unfortunately, due to the size of our products we cannot offer deliveries to PO boxes.
No, we are only able to ship goods to Australia only.
Unfortunately, we can only provide shipping to QLD, NSW, and VIC.
Insurance & Warranty
Many of the products available on this website are manufactured by Vanity By Design. However, in order to offer a comprehensive range of products, some goods are manufactured by other companies via strategic alliances. In such cases we offer the same warranties and guarantees of quality as on goods produced by Vanity by Design, so you can be confident that regardless of who manufactures the goods, Vanity by Design will honour any warranties that apply.
Vanity By Design offers 5 year warranty on cabinets & tapware plus 12 month warranty on tops, basins & mirrors. A warranty claim must be notified to us in writing attached with photographic evidence within the applicable warranty period.
For the marble bench top, Vanity By Design makes no guarantees or warranties against grazing, scratching or wear on the stone surface or otherwise. All stone products are sold subject to variation in colour, flow, grain, tonality, spotting, veining, shade and texture. Vanity by Design will not be held responsible for natural fractures existing in stone.
If you have purchased a 2pac paint cabinet and have come across an issue with your paint work, Vanity by Design will first provide a pot of touch up paint. If the touch up paint cannot resolve the issue, Vanity by Design will then look into replacing the cabinetry.
If you have collected your original order from a depot and now require a warranty replacement, your replacement order must also be delivered to a depot for pickup.
Vanity By Design controls most of our delivery process which means that damages in transit are highly unlikely.
On the rare occasion when an item is damaged, we require photographic evidence as soon as you notice the damage within the 5 working days from the day you receive your order and can send a replacement where needed. Please email our warranties department at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will organise a replacment urgently.
Vanity By Design will not be responsible for any transportation damage unless we are notified within the time period specified.
You can cancel an order if we haven't yet dispatched it. After dispatch we cannot accept cancellations. However, we can refund your money under the 30-day money back guarantee. Delivery charges will still apply.
If we haven't yet dispatched your order, you can exchange your goods free of charge. Additional cost will apply if the order's been dispatched from our warehouse.
When exchanging an item please make sure it is still in its original packaging and original condition. Goods cannot be exchanged after installation. Goods will be inspected upon return. Vanity By Design will reserve the right to refuse a return if the goods do not meet our standard.
The customer acknowledges that the product that they have originally purchased is of the correct size and colour, failure to do so will result in a restocking fee of $110 per vanity plus two freight charges;
1. Freight charges back to our warehouse (located in Brisbane)
2. Freight charge to deliver the customers new product to customer’s home address or closet depot
Please note prices may vary due to location of delivery. Freight charges will be an additional cost made by the customer and will not be reimbursed by Vanity by Design. Please refer our refund & return policy for further information.
We do not issue any refunds and exchanges to products after dispatch that are discontinued items or floor stock due to change of mind, accidental damages that has occurred on site or upon installation or after installation.
Not dispatched: Vanity by Design offers a full money back guarantee from the initial date of purchase only if the order has not been dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse.
Dispatched: Vanity by Design also offers a refund from the initial date of purchase if the vanity has been dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse. If the order has been dispatched, you will have to pay freight back to our Brisbane Warehouse as well as a restocking fee of $110 per vanity for the refund to follow. Please note that prices vary due to location of pick up.
Vanity by Design reserves the rights to change/modify these conditions without prior notice.
A refund will be issued by crediting your account within 10 working days via bank transfer. All refunds are done via bank transfer even if the initial payment method was different.
The Vanity By Design website is designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate. Each product range is categorised according to the collection, product type and name at the top menu. When you choose an item and click on the 'Add to Cart' button, shopping cart would appear on the right of your screen. If you wish to add more items to your order, you can continue to browse through the site or proceed to the checkout. Customer(s) live outside the home delivery zone area can click Get Delivery Quotes to find out their shipping options. You can also message our online chatroom team if you require any assistance. We are able to assist you online during our trading hours.
Simply browse through our large selection of products available at Vanity By Design. Click "Add to Cart" button once you identify an item that you would like to order. Click "Cart" when you're ready to proceed. Double check all the item(s) that you place in cart and leave us a note at bottom left corner if there are any special requests. Click "Check Out" button and enter your personal & shipping details. Choose your shipping method and click "Continue to payment". Select your payment method and click "Pay now". You will receive a order confirmation via email when your order is placed. Once payment has been confirmed we will organize delivery.
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard credit or debit cards, apple pay, google pay, zip money and PayPal as the payment gateway. We also accept payment by direct deposit. If you prefer to make direct deposit payment, please contact our customer service team on (07) 3376 6055 and they will arrange to have an invoice sent to you by email with all relevant information. We kindly ask for a remittance for all direct deposit payment.
